Coriander (Coriandrum Sativum L) is an important seed spices, native of Mediterranean and east region.Whole or ground seeds are also used as condiment to flavor foods like pickles and confectionery. Young leaves are also used in preparing chutney, seasoning in curry soups.Coriander is mainly gown in India, Morocco, Russia, Bulgaria, Mexico, Argentina, China, Romania, Japan and Italy.In India the main coriander, growing states Rajasthan, M.P., A.P., T.N.
